KSC Highlights Miri's Potential as Gateway for Sarawak-Brunei Investment

Kenyalang Smart City (KSC) is being positioned to strengthen Miri's role as a strategic gateway for investment between Sarawak and Brunei Darussalam, with its location near the Sarawak-Brunei border seen as a key advantage for cross-border economic cooperation under the BIMP-EAGA framework.

The potential was highlighted during a visit by around 45 delegates from a BIMP-EAGA reciprocal trade mission to the KSC development site, ahead of Sarawak's official trade mission to Brunei Darussalam. The mission, running until August 1, brings together delegates from both sides for business networking sessions, business matching, technical visits, meetings with government agencies, and investment discussions. Delegates were also briefed on KSC's development vision and toured the Kenyalang Convention and Exhibition Centre One (KCEC One).
